Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel and film maker in the United States. Her stunning beauty as well as her successes in the field of film demonstrate her talent as a performer. Her career began as a model in the 70s, and quickly became one of the most well-known model actors. Dana White took notice of this, and she was accepted into the strawweight division of UFC at the end of December 2014, when she was just 22 years old. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, yet she always emerges triumphant. In April of 2015, Rose took on Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout less than 3 minutes in Round One - becoming not only winner of the title, but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA because this was the first time ever that a female fighter competed for a championship title in any of the major promotions worldwide . In the aftermath of this win Namajunas went onto have several more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
