Christina Ochoa comes from Spain. She is an actor also a marine biologist in addition to producer and author. She is the granddaughter of Nobel laureate Severo Ochoa. Ochoa was born into a household where both her artistic and scientific sensibilities received equal encouragement. In the wake of her extensive schooling and travels that brought her across Spain to Australia to America as well as back to Australia She has become an active scientist via social media. She's a regular keynote speaker and host at conferences on science. Despite her interest in science however, it wasn't until when she was older that she discovered acting was the real passion of her. Ochoa, who started acting as a second hobby, moved to Madrid in order to better understand of the topic and to hopefully get a few parts. In 2008 she made her first screen appearance in a comedy show titled 'La que se avecina'. Since her debut in the series, she's appeared as the lead on several TV shows and also on stage. In her capacity as a writer, she regularly contributes to Vogue Spain, H, and El Imparcial magazines. In 2009 she joined Mensa.
